“Days turn to minutes / And minutes to memories / Life sweeps away the dreams / That we have planned / You are young and you are the future / So suck it up and tough it out / And be the best you can.” – John Cougar Mellencamp (Scarecrow, 1985)
I was under 50 too when I had mine (sadly I am no longer under 50!). It is no big deal. The idea is much worse than the reality of it. The preparation is the worst part. Although I have heard that sometimes in the USA they don’t sedate you. Now that would NOT be nice.
But I have had worse things for which I was not sedated – and – I’m not going to share that online!
Perhaps their is an unknown sadistic side in me, but I could not stop laughing as I read through the Moviprep section… then again, as a man, I know my time will come as well.

Dave Barry cracks me up no matter what he’s writing about, but I especially enjoyed this one…
