This Time It Counts

Legal Research & Writing is a different class in several ways. For one, we had our final yesterday smack dab in the middle of all our regular classes. Two, the final was only worth 30% of our final grade (as opposed to 100% on the others). The remaining 70% of our grade in LRW comes on a “memo” assignment we receive today. So while our other teachers are ramping up our reading assignments to get through the material they intended to cover this semester, we have this massive research & writing assignment to complete that really, really counts.

It felt odd to take a test that counted yesterday. 30% of my first law school grade has now been completed, and by next Saturday I will be completely done with my first law school class.

These next nine days of working on this memo will be pretty intense, but it is equally exciting to be bringing at least something to a conclusion.
