What’s up with it being cold in Malibu??? This was NOT in the brochures.

L.A. is weird. There was heavy snow at Angeles Crest yesterday (where Jody & Hillary went on a retreat recently). It’s just about 60 miles from here where it never snows! People were driving up there yesterday, loading snow up in the beds of their trucks, and bringing it home for the kids to play in!

Not me. Too cold!

Of course I can’t really complain. Highs in the 50s and lows in the 40s aren’t exactly blizzard conditions (evidenced by the surfers that are still out and about), but when your heating unit is practically nonexistent in your apartment, IT’S COLD!!!

But on the positive side, it’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas.

Most of you are probably way into the Christmas spirit already. After my final “final” tomorrow, I plan to be, too. And the first thing I plan to do is to check out some Christmas tunes on my Hippos website. You guys really need to jump over there (CLICK HERE) to sample the tunes.

My friend, Candice, is the musical expert among my fellow hippos, and she has put together a Christmas Playlist that looks really cool. Many of them are linked to YouTube videos of the songs for us all to enjoy (plus, DeJon has also posted some others in his comment). Maybe you guys can add some comments, too. Opinions on Christmas tunes is something most of us share!
