Yesterday

It’s sad that Erica has to go back to Mississippi today, but at least we had a really nice final day of her trip together yesterday.

We braved the precursor to today’s Santa Ana winds at Point Dume and got pretty close to some California sea lions. Jody swore she saw a whale in the ocean (it is the beginning of migration season), but Erica was hesitant to confirm her sighting. 🙂

Then last night, we watched an amazing men’s volleyball match (Pepperdine vs. California Baptist). For our family, that was a pretty cool ending to Erica’s trip.

Wulp, gotta get ready to drive through the gusty winds back to LAX.
