No time to blog this morning, and too tired to think.
Just a quickie: caught the inaugural speech during lunch yesterday, and one little thing I heard that I especially liked was the use of the words “humility and restraint” in the context of national defense.
Gotta run.
“we reject as false the choice between our safety and our ideals.” was the phrase (among many) that I found exciting. The erosion of our liberties, and the attendant disdain from the rest of the world, stand out as the worst (among many) of the Bush acts.
