I hiked the Runyon Canyon Loop while my girls were in Arkansas over Christmas break, and I took Jody back today to share the experience with me. The views are crazy good.

We walked down the Walk of Fame on the way to the park, and since we were early we had an easy chance to see the makeshift memorial that has sprung up around Michael Jackson’s star. Here’s a pic…
A little further down Hollywood Boulevard we noticed another star with flowers around it. I wondered aloud if it was the “other” Michael Jackson’s star (that sparked a little confusion right after his death). On closer inspection, we saw it was Farrah Fawcett’s. As Jody remarked, How soon we forget.
