Things are good.
Okay, that was a little too quick.
We’ll start with the youngest:
* Hillary is doing great. Amazing semester report card. Ran her personal best mile in P.E. class yesterday. Has a friend coming over to spend the night tonight, and they are going to Masque, a talent show at Malibu High. Word on the street is that Mitchel Musso (Hannah Montana, Phineas & Ferb) is one of the judges.
* Erica is doing great. Sounds like she’s being the responsible adult and all in Arkansas in her first full-time job. Her birthday is this Monday (can’t believe she’ll be 23!!!). I’ve sent her a couple of proposals for our annual birthday trip. Being in California makes those a little more complicated, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible.
* Jody is doing great. Still loves her job and life here in Malibu. Her diet/exercise weight loss dedication is obviously a glowing success. She informed us this morning that she weighs less than she did at any point when we lived in Mississippi. We moved there in early 1999, so that is really awesome.
* I am doing great. The rest of today is dedicated to studying for the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam, which I’m scheduled to take at USC tomorrow morning. One more week until spring break, and although my big spring break plans involve writing a Mediation Theory mid-term, beginning my work as a research assistant for Dean Gash, and attending/helping with the Judicial Clerkship Institute, it still seems like a break is on the way. And that makes me happy.
Okay, quick update over. Time for lunch, and then off for more study.
