From Worse to Bad (Or, Sometimes Progress Sucks)

My friend, Jenny, and her law school colleagues at USC helped Rosie Sanchez secure her freedom after spending twenty-three years behind bars for a crime that most–including the presiding judge over the case–believe she never committed. Within hours of her long-dreamed-of release yesterday, she received word that she was now being deported. (Read the article HERE.)

I can’t honestly say that words are unable to express how I feel about this turn of events, but since practically all of those words are generally considered profanity, I’ll just leave it to your imagination.
