Just after our move to the Mississippi Gulf Coast in early 1999, the Haviland and Niemann families decided to host an Easter Egg Hunt / Brunch for our church family, and it was an instant hit. Over time, after the Niemann family moved away, the Logans stepped in to fill the void and help the Havilands provide this fun annual tradition.
This year, Jody and I decided to do our best to replicate the fun for the families that live in our complex here at Pepperdine, and though we can’t compete with the Haviland/Niemann/Logan line of party hosts, it turned out to be a wonderful morning. Lots of cute kids, neat parents, colorful candy-filled eggs, fresh fruit, tasty breakfast burritos, and fantastic weather. Turns out to be a winning combination.
