Looks like Pepperdine School of Law climbed a tad bit higher in the rankings this year, all the way up to #52. And, for the sixth consecutive year, our Dispute Resolution program is ranked #1 in the nation.
It is funny how everyone talks about how the U.S. News rankings are rife with problems, but we all want to be at the top of the list anyway. 🙂
Our Dispute Resolution program (known as the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution) is on my mind especially today since I was in our Dispute Resolution Law Journal’s symposium (American Justice at a Crossroads: A Public and Private Crisis) all day. Because I am privileged to serve as Managing Editor next year, I have the distinct pleasure of attending a dinner at Dean Starr’s tonight with today’s panelists as well as the panelists for the Law Review’s symposium on tort law tomorrow. Pretty cool deal for me since the Straus Institute drew me to Pepperdine, and “torts” is my subject of choice.
Anyway, I’d better quit blogging and get ready for the dinner.
I admire you Al!
Thanks, Danny. Same feeling right back your direction!
