We’re headin’ up to San Francisco on a little weekend road trip today. Our first time to SF ever, and we’re excited. I remember my dad talking about his time in SF during WWII, and I have always wanted to go myself.
Enormous guilt taking a weekend road trip with law school finals so close. Enormous excitement, too – going to check out Fisherman’s Wharf and the Golden Gate Bridge; going to take the Golden Gate Ferry to AT&T Park to see the Cardinals & Giants play ball; going to visit some Redwoods; going to hang out with our Mississippi friend, Cole, and stay at his place in Sausalito.
And I’m also going to ignore blogs, emails, and Facebook for a few days. Hard to believe, but true.
But as Jimmy Buffett says, “Come Monday, it’ll be alright.”
